5. How many times a week do you plan to exercise? The level of your physical activity can make or break any diet. You can lose weight without exercise, but it will be much harder and you will be more likely to gain back whatever you have lost.

There are a lot of diets out there that will allow you to lose body fat as long as you follow the diet. The most popular diet right now is calorie counting. Although you will lose weight as long as you stay on a 2000 calorie diet, it will be impossible to permanently change you life around it. Lets face it, everybody loves to eat junk food. Following the calorie diet will not allow you to eat them. By learning HOW to eat, you will be able to incorporate them into you daily life while still losing body fat.

Another popular diet is that Atkins diet. Like the calorie diet, you will lose weight if you follow it properly. Here is a diet that does not allow you to eat carbohydrates. Unfortunately almost everything out there has carbs. Sure you can do that for a little time, but the minute you stop; you will go right back to your old eating habits. That is what happens with all diets and that is why you always will put the weight back on.

You need to learn WHEN and WHAT to eat. There are certain foods you want to eat at certain times of the day. Learning that will allow you to still eat those bad foods and still be able to lose body fat. The other thing you will must learn is that you want to eat more fulfilling foods. Those type of foods will help you not feel hungry and allow you to eat less. Learning simple things like that will allow you to lose weight and never sacrifice the foods you love.
